Congratulations to Joey Patterson, ALL IN’s December 2017 Athlete of the Month!

Tell us about yourself:

I’m 38-years-old and grew up in North Alabama.  I was on swim team, played football, baseball and basketball.  I graduated from Boaz High School where I was captain of the football team and played QB & SS.  I graduated from Auburn University in 2003.  I’ve been married to Leann for 16 years and we have two boys- Ty(5) and Tag(2).  I own and operate Ever Green Outdoor Services, Inc.

What is something interesting about you we would be surprised to know?

I used to ride bulls and show cutting horses.

How long have you been coming to ALL IN CrossFit? 

Since January 2017.

What made you start CrossFit? 

My wife wanted me to do the CrossFit 101 class with her.

What do you enjoy most about CrossFit? 

It is something different everyday.

What is your favorite and your least favorite CrossFit movement or workout? 

My least favorite movement is burpees and my favorite is cleans.

What is your proudest CrossFit moment?

When I competed RX in ALL IN’s last in-house competition.

What are your future CrossFit goals? 

I want to clean 300 lbs.

What impact has ALL IN CrossFit had on your life in and out of the gym? 

I’ve lost 40 lbs. since January 2017 and feel 100% better.
